Review: Sated

Sated Sated by Charity Parkerson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is so not like anything I've read before and I really don't know what to say besides I really really enjoyed this book. I was riveted from the beginning and stayed that way until the end. Talk about a wild ride that is what I got here but I so enjoyed it. This is not a book for everyone but if you want a good book that takes you outside you comfort zone this may just be what you are looking for. Talk about a love that transcends all then you need to read this story.

Review: Protecting Melody

Protecting Melody Protecting Melody by Susan Stoker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I've adored Tex throughout this series and was thrilled when he finally got his own story. It's fitting he is the last of the team to get his women and it's also fitting he found her online. I've adored this series even though I'm late finishing it. I was actually waiting for the audio versions to all be out so I could finish the series the way I started it listening to it. I'm glad this series has whispersync though as I couldn't just wait to finish by listening to it. I had to read the last few chapters.
Another amazing read by this author and I look forward to reading many more great stories in the worlds she has created for us.

Review: No Were To Run

No Were To Run No Were To Run by Robyn Peterman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was thrilled to be asked to beta read this book and to get to do that on my birthday even better. I have enjoyed this series since I started reading it and was wondering if she could keep my interest up in another one, don't worry she did. I adored it from the start to the finish I was totally engaged in the storyline. I loved meeting all the new characters she introduced us to and really adored that all my old favorites from the past books were all here too. What could be better than a hot read and hot dragon shifters? From my point of view not much. If you are a fan of good stories that keep you entertained from the start to the end then this is a story for you. I do not believe you have to read the others to enjoy the story but if you havne't once you finish reading this one I'm pretty sure you will fill the urge to go back and finish book one and two.
I absolutely loved this story and hope she brings us back to this world as there are still characters we meet that need the rest of their story told

Review: Protecting Jessyka

Protecting Jessyka Protecting Jessyka by Susan Stoker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love this series but I'm glad I waited to finish the series till I could get the last few books on audio. I know this may seem weird to some but I started this series by listening to it on audio and really wanted to finish it that way so I had to wait a bit to finish. Susan did not disappoint me at all and this has become one of my favorites of her's that I've read. With every book I've become more and more in love with this family/team she has created for this series. They may have started as a team but along the way they have become a family. I love how Jessyka had to protect Bennie and although she didn't like what she had to do she did it anyways to save her man.
The narrator Susan uses for this series does an outstanding job and when I'm listening to the man's voice in the story I never think that is a women talking like a man I just think how much I'm enjoying this book.

Review: Reconstructed

Reconstructed Reconstructed by Tasha Black
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This review is for the audio version of this story

"Decent story"

Where does Reconstructed: Building a Hero rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's not a bad story but there were parts that I was talking back to the audio

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would have taken out the dinner with Peter I don't see where that fit in the story. Actually once Peter leaves the penthouse I really didn't see the need for him back in the story.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Mason Lloyd?

yes I would he has a good voice and did a good job narrating

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Loved when West saved Shaun from the bad guy

Any additional comments?

Loved the idea behind how they fixed West after he fell from the building. Talk about a bright future for so many if this could actually be achieved

Review: Midnight on the Double-B

Midnight on the Double-B Midnight on the Double-B by Kayce Lassiter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

While the story itself is not very long it gives you a good idea if you are going to enjoy the authors other books or not. I must say for myself I do believe I need to get more of her book. The FMG was hilarious. Story was short, sweet, funny and cute.

Review: Pride & Prejudice & Assassinations

Pride & Prejudice & Assassinations Pride & Prejudice & Assassinations by Leo Charles Taylor
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If you read Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice and ever wonder what Mr Darcy's side of the story was then you need to read this book. If you ever thought there might be more to the story then you need to read this. If you want to read a really good book then you need to read this. I was so intrigued by the idea of this story and then I read it. The author does an amazing job of keeping with the Jane Austen world but making it his own story. I started reading this morning and couldn't stop till I finished I was so engaged. I very excited that there are more to this series as I was always sad Austen did not write more of Darcy and Elizabeth

TackleTackle by Holly Hart
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Recieved an arc for an honest review. While I wasn't in love with this story as much as I was the last one I read by Holly (Hung) this is still a really good love story. I think one of the reason's I didn't get into it as much as I not a huge soccer fan so when they were talking about soccer I lost interest. I also hate how the herione of the story got treated by her boss. For some this will be one of their favorite reads and I can totally see why as the author is good at what she does writing a good interesting story. I will be reading more from this author in the furture as I really enjoy her books. Just hope the next one is a

Review: Undeniably You

Undeniably You Undeniably You by Jewel E. Ann
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a story about an amazing couple who meet at the wrong time in their lives but fall in love anyways. The heroine leaves to fulfill what she thought was her dreams till real life catches up with her and what she thought was her dreams change. Meet up with our hero later as he discovers our heroine again by accident in the hospital where he is the Dr when she comes in. Fate has determined these two must be together and their love is worth this.
This book grabbed me from the beginning I started this by listening the audio but couldn't finish it quick enough that way so ended up going back and forth between the two. I loved this story and have already read bits and pieces a few times I adored it so much. This is one story that earned it's place on my top 20 list

Review: Lilith Enraptured

Lilith Enraptured Lilith Enraptured by Michelle M. Pillow
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

REVIEW IS FOR THE AUDIO VERSION
"Decent story"

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would but with a warning the heroine is annoying at first

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I loved the idea of dimensional travel that was very intriguing. The heroine was such a wimp at first I kept having to stop listening to the story take a break and go back.

Which scene was your favorite?

Where Sorin goes through the portal to rescue Lilith it was awesome

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If the heroine hadn't annoyed me so much at first yes I would as I was intrigued by the plot

Any additional comments?

I would listen to another from this series as the story was good but as stated before the heroine annoyed me with her whining at the beginning of the story.
The narrator did an amazing job. I've listened to other books she has done and I love how she brings the story to life
