Author: Jewel E Ann
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: July 28th, 2016

Synopsis:

Lake Jones is a cover girl for cutting-edge prosthetic legs, a binge-watcher of Netflix, known to spy on her neighbor through her door’s peephole, and fond of laser games with her hairless cat. She’s also a bit sexually-frustrated.

Until …

God bestows a breath of mercy upon her in the form of Minnesota’s NFL starting quarterback. But this gift is no stranger. Lake met Cage Monaghan three years earlier.

It was one day.
One moment.
One kiss that resurrected her dreams of finding love.

His dimpled smile distracts from his imperfections, which include: a love for country music, fishing, and a feline-hating girlfriend.

When life finally gives them their chance, it’s a humorous and heart-wrenching journey to find their place in the world.

"We would be Cage and Lake. We would be unpredictable. We would be reckless. We would give normality the middle finger.”

***This book is a standalone. However, it is HIGHLY recommended that any readers who have not, but may consider, reading the Jack & Jill Series, do so before reading this book. It contains spoilers to Jack & Jill.

Again all I can say is wow I love how invested I get in these stories. This was another amazing read that grabbed me from page one and didn't let me go till I was finished reading every page. <br>I loved that Cage and Lake found each other after the hits that life had given them. This could be read as a stand alone but you will get more of the story if you have read the authors Jack and Jill series. It just amazes me how this author convenes so much with her written words

I loved having dual narrators and felt like I was really in Eva and Gideon's head listening to their thoughts

Any additional comments?
I will miss Eva and Gideon I've loved them from book one and I glad that Sylvia took the time to give them a fitting end. So glad I was able to read this journey that Sylvia took us on. While I'm sure there will be some that don't like the end I really did and felt it was fitting

Review: Dating A Pro

Dating A Pro Dating A Pro by Donna McDonald
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I think this will end up being my favorite of this series and I always wanted more of Harrison and Doris's story and boy did I get it. I adsolutly loved it. It was fun to go back in time and see how different things were back there. In some ways they were better and others worse, we see that in this book. Even with it being in the past I still wonders how it was gonna come out and was so happy to read the happy ending. Great addition to a wonderful series. Although if you've never read her books this a wonderful series to start with and it won't make a difference if you start with this one.

Review: Special Forces: Operation Alpha: Protecting Maddie (Kindle Worlds Novella)

Special Forces: Operation Alpha: Protecting Maddie (Kindle Worlds Novella) Special Forces: Operation Alpha: Protecting Maddie (Kindle Worlds Novella) by Desiree Holt
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Amazing novella and although I've never read the author's Omega stories I loved the appearance of them in this one as it fit the story well and made me want to read her Omega stories. This was the first story I have read in Susan Stoker's Kindle world and I am very impressed with how the author blended her world seemlessly with Susan's. The story was hot and with an edge of truth to keep you on the edge of your seat while reading. I was gifted this book for an honest review

Sunflower Touches Sunflower Touches by Cheryl Oblon
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Enjoyable YA story about a two families with sisters who must learn to become a part a large family after their parents marry. This is about the eldest sister but you meet all the others and the second oldest is a big part of this story. I really enjoyed getting into the dynamics of the sisters as they learn about each other.

Review: Rescuing Emily

Rescuing Emily Rescuing Emily by Susan Stoker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow and I thought I was in love Ghost and Rayne's story than I got to meet Fletch, Emily and Annie and just fell even more in love with them. Although the beginning of the story pissed me off I know it had to happen that way for the rest of the story to pan out. Lose your self in this awesome read by a wonderful author. Can't wait to read the stories for the rest of the guys. I must say I love the authors' Seal series but I'm even more in love with the Delta guys. Might be cause I'm an Army vet and love to see my guys getting good stories too.

Enticing An Angel Enticing An Angel by Leo Charles Taylor
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Audible review
"Good characters"

Where does Enticing an Angel rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It would be in the top 20

What did you like best about this story?
I loved the dynamics of the characters. These were not your normal hero and heroine you normally read about both of the main characters were different but fit well together

Which scene was your favorite?
When Michael borrowed the key so he could tell Melanie his side of the story after he found out what his mother did. I also loved all of Melanie's interactions with the "little angels"

Any additional comments?
I think the narrator really did a good job of bringing the story to life for me. I would enjoy listening to other books narrated by her. I am hoping she is the narrator for the rest of this series as I really enjoyed book one

His Sub's Submissive His Sub's Submissive by Cooper McKenzie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Good story just what I expect from this author but I wanted more so that is why 4 instead of 5 stars. I liked this story line but would have liked more at the end. It was a very interesting story and I loved the dynamics of this trio. First one I've read from this series but it won't be my last as it grabbed my attention and kept it through the whole read

Only my second book I've read of this series but I loved it and I know I will be reading the rest of them. This one was a great read and contained everything I love for a good story to enjoy. I've slowly been trying to get more of this author's work and read them as I've fallen in love with her writing style and love how she draws me into a story.

Review: The Santinis Collection, Volume Two

The Santinis Collection, Volume Two The Santinis Collection, Volume Two by Melissa Schroeder
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What is not to love about getting three of our loved Santinis in one volume. If you haven't read any of the Santinis before you are in for a treat as they are just the best. Before I got this collection I had only read one of the three stories in here. Reading that story again just reminded me how much I enjoy reading about this awesome family. I love it the three where about 3 of the Twins the only thing that could have made it better if one more story had been included and it was about the twin whose story we did not get in here. I forget how much I enjoy this author's writing until I pick up one of her books and immerse myself in her world. Thank you for writing these
