Snowdrift Snowdrift by Debra Erfert
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

It was good story and I liked the characters. It was worth my time reading this book. I would recommend this to a friend. Only issue I have is at times there was a little too much going on. This would be a good rainy day read

Review: Blair's Destiny

Blair's Destiny Blair's Destiny by Miranda Lynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Audio review

"Great series "
Would you listen to Blair's Destiny again? Why?
Yes I would as I really love the characters and the series

Who was your favorite character and why?
Jamie. I just loved how much she grown into this timeframe she had been dropped into

Have you listened to any of Lesley Parkin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, It was wonderful as she also narratored book one and I loved hearing the same voices I fell in love with in book one

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
yes when Jamie and Jack were searching for Blair to help her overcome the darkness

Any additional comments?
This is part of a series so we are left hanging in the end. It wasn't a horrible way to end it but it does leave us wanting more of the story. I love these characters so I can't wait to read/listen to more of them.
Well worth a credit

Lyric's Accidental Mate Lyric's Accidental Mate by Elle Boon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

While this was the first I've read by this author I could tell by how much I enjoyed this book it won't be the last. I love when a shifter book isn't the same as so many and this had just a different feel that appealed to me. Great charaters that held my history and the story itself keep me reading

I was so invested I ended up getting the ebook so I could continue reading when I got to my destination. While it's not a long listen its a great story. I would have been happy if I had given a credit for this book. I was gifted this book for an honest review. I would happily listen to this story again and again as it was so delightful

How it was a different from many other vampire books I've read

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I would have loved to listen to this in one sitting.

Any additional comments?

I am very interested in reading book one and three now that I've read book 2 and so enjoyed it

A Tale of Two Witches; Robyn Peterman

AVAILABLE NOW! Three waxed cats, one Cookie Witch, a brazilian gone bad and the last name, Bermangoggleshitz… not the best ingredients for a successful spell. Or is it? Avoiding the truth has been working out just fine for most of my life. I’m finally happy. I have friends and a kangaroo shifter who adores me. Never in my twenty-nine witchy years did I think I would have a place to call home with people who truly cared. Now my BFF, Zelda, wants to have a chat. Can’t crappy news wait? As soon as my varnished Virginia is mobile, I want to go home to my adorable little house I share with with the love of my life and my four semi-violent, adopted, gum-smacking chipmunk shifter sons. But, noooooooo… Instead of enjoying a bouncy romp of nookie with my marsupial man whose last name I should really find out, I have to deal with an odiferous, butt-ugly, dead-beat, evil warlock of a dad named Bermangoggleshitz—the very same douchecanoe that tried to kill my rodent children. Not to mention, said sperm donor has called up a Legion of demons from the Underworld. Fanfreakintastic. So armed with my questionable intellect, a shaky handle on the French language and a penchant for blowing up buildings, I’m gonna grab this problem by the nuts and squeeze—like a brazilian times…whoops, bazillion. That French gets me every time. I will have my happily ever after no matter what or my name’s not Sassy Louise…umm… Bermangoggleshitz.

Levi- Justine Elivira

Life can throw one hell of a curveball...

Today is the day! Levi is here!!! I am so excited for you to read Kendall and Levi's story. Levi is the second book in the Forbidden Desires series.

And don't worry if you haven't read Noah. Each book in the Forbidden Desires series is an interconnected stand-alone novel so it's not required to read Noah before Levi.

Levi links: AmazonAmazon UKAmazon AUApple iBooksBarnes&NobleKobo, and Smashwords.
*Available at most Amazon and Apple iBooks international stores.

Levi Synopsis

Rejection.

It is not something I'm used to.

I'm a beautiful woman and I like carefree, no commitment sex. I'm a single man's dream. So when I set my sights on the new bouncer for Forbidden Desires and he doesn't share my enthusiasm for a wild night together, I'm dumbfounded as to why.

Night after night, Levi ignores me–making me want him even more. I flirt and practically throw myself at him, but he's a complete gentleman. His indifference only makes him more desirable. I've made him my next target. He'll be my lover, as soon as I figure out how to wear him down.

My raw sex appeal isn't working with him and maybe there's a reason. He's hiding something underneath his large muscles and adorable dimples. Levi's keeping secrets from me and one night he reveals one of his secrets–he's vowed to be abstinent.

What the hell am I going to do now?

*Recommended for 18+ due to subject matter and sexual content.
**HEA, no cliffhanger, interconnected stand-alone novel.

Teaser #1

When I open my eyes to peek at Levi, he's watching me like a man possessed.

It's invigorating.

It's infuriating.

Why won't he just claim what I'm offering him?

My palm slides down London's neck, as I taste her watermelon lip-gloss. Her lips move against mine effortlessly. I forgot just how nice it is to kiss another woman. There's a unique and sensual way two women's bodies move together that a man and a woman can't replicate. Her soft curves press against mine as the kiss deepens and I love the way she feels. I may have kissed her for a selfish reason, but if Levi won't take me home tonight it's nice to know I have another option.

Her right hand moves from my waist and begins to slide up the front of my body. My nipples harden with anticipation. I arch my back as her hand massages my breast and I moan into her mouth in pleasure. She's summoning an animalistic response from my body and Levi is watching every touch and every kiss.

I'm not sure what turns me on more and right now I don't care. I'm sick of the hot and cold game he plays and I'm at my breaking point. No matter what the end result, the teeter-totter game ends tonight. I want to be with Levi, but I'm done throwing myself at him.

My hand travels around London's hip so I can cup her ass but before I get the chance I'm ripped away from her soft body as I'm confronted by the man who made me desperate enough to be in this position.

"Want to join in? I'm sure a man like you can handle the two of us."

"Cut the shit, Kendall."

"What, you don't want a threesome? I thought this was a fantasy every guy had."

He pulls me into his hard body, holding me to him with one arm behind my back and the other cupping the back of my neck. His lips are just inches from mine and I can feel his hot breath against my skin.

"When are you going to learn that I'm not like every guy? I only want you."

Teaser #2

"What did you think the first time you saw me?" Those aren't exactly the first words I wanted to say to him after what just happened, but there's nothing I can do about that now. Ugh, I'm such a dweeb.

He zips up the front of his pants and slips on his t-shirt before answering. "You don't need to know. A man like me doesn't have any clean or pure thoughts when he sets eyes on a woman like you."

My eyes light up with excitement and I welcome more information. "I think I'm going to like this story. Impure thoughts are exactly what I want to hear. Tell me, please."

He watches me with amusement and then nods. "I thought you were trouble. You walked through the bar looking so damn sexy in kitten heels and a tight skirt. In those few seconds, I thought of every way I wanted to fuck you. I imagined your pouty lips screaming my name. Letting those thoughts roam freely wasn't like me. I felt out of control. I was salivating and I was so thankful that you never locked eyes with me because I would have lost my job and my self-control the moment you had. For fuck's sake, I hauled ass to the bathroom and talked my dick down before I embarrassed myself. I was usually so in control, but you unnerved me and I hadn't even talked to you."

He stares down at the floor and I can tell he's ashamed to admit his private thoughts to me. We're still getting to know each other. We're still learning all of the little quirks about our personalities. He needs to know that his thoughts are nothing to be ashamed of. I like a guy who thinks dirty.

I slip my heels back on and reach for his hands. "You have no idea how much I needed to hear that. For the longest time, I thought my desire for you went unreciprocated."

He watches our hands together and starts playing with my fingers before intertwining his fingers with mine. "How about you, Kendall? What did you think the first time you saw me?"

Without skipping a beat, I reply, "I wondered how fast I could get you to let me sit on your face and ride your dimples. I never thought you'd make me wait this damn long."

He laughs. "I should have known you only wanted me for sex."

"You are a bouncer and work security," I tease. "I thought you wouldn't be able to hold a decent conversation and you'd bore me to death. I'm glad I was wrong."

Audio Review

"As good as I remembered the print book "
If you could sum up Tiger Eyes in three words, what would they be?
Learning to Live

What did you like best about this story?
How much it I still enjoyed it even all these years later. I read this growing up and wasn't sure if I would still enjoy the story in my 40's but yes I really did as it's still a great read.

Which character – as performed by Emma Galvin – was your favorite?
Davey/Tiger was the my favorite but her little brother was awesome

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes I would have loved to be able to listen to it all at once

Any additional comments?
This was well worth one of my credits. Like mentioned above I read this years ago as a teenager and wasn't sure I would still enjoy it but decided to use a credit and give it a chance. I'm so glad I did as it a wonderful story and well worth my time. Plus it brought back memories of old forgotten items such as cassette tapes, answering the phone in the hallway and just stuff kids today couldn't imagine.

In the centre of the room were four glowing orbs dancing around each other in perfect harmony, ebbing and flowing like beating hearts.
“The cloister of elements,” Adrian said, eyes bulging.
Tamsin stroked Adrian’s cheek. “Yes. I have been waiting to bring you here for a long time and I do believe you are all ready to receive this lesson.”
Morgan had been ready and waiting for years to see inside the cloister. He had asked his mother on many occasions, but was rejected every time.
Tamsin touched her necklace with dainty fingers. “Opening this door using the pendant is something you will be able to do when you are Queen, Helia. I brought you here today to show you the elements so you might understand their power and respect it. You are no better than these energies. Their individual power matches your own. Study them and tell me what you see.”
Morgan stepped closer, hand out stretched. The flickering red orb was inches from his fingertips, a strong heat emanating.
“Do not touch them,” Tamsin said and Morgan retracted his hand, glaring at his mother. He felt like a small child being scolded for trying to be involved in something only adults would understand.
I am not a child, he thought. I am powerful and smart, the best of Helia and Adrian’s qualities reside in me. I am the youngest and most capable. I should be the leader, the ruler of Ivalice.
Morgan had a vision for a future where people bowed down before him and worshipped the ground he walked on for his deeds. He would get the recognition he deserved.
Soon, he thought with a devilish grin. Soon my vision will be a reality.
