"Cute and funny"

What made the experience of listening to Shopping for a Billionaire the most enjoyable?

That it was so funny and as I used to do secret shopping I could really relate to the heroine.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Shannon cause her inner monolog made me laugh so many times

What about Tanya Eby’s performance did you like?

She brought the story to life for me

Any additional comments?

I won this audio from the author and was the first book I had ever read by her. I liked this one so much I'm going to use my credit I have to buy the next one. I don't expect it to be the last I listen to by this author

Mr. Tucker by Justine Elvira

This Student/Teacher Sexy Romance is Available Now!

Mr. Tucker is finally here and I can't wait for you to read it. The reviews are in and everyone can agree this is one hot book! Mr. Tucker is available at Amazon, Barnes&Noble, and Smashwords. It will hopefully be at Apple iBooks by Monday evening and Kobo sometime next week.Mr. Tucker Synopsis
*Warning: This book contains strong language and graphic sex between a teacher and his consenting student. It's hot and sexy smut at its finest. Mr. Tucker is recommended for mature readers 18 and over.

A senior bet.

Almost every school has one–a tradition that's passed down from year to year. My small school in Tennessee is no different. While some seniors at schools all across the country have senior pranks or senior ditch days, our school has the senior bet.

Lose your virginity by spring break–have proof–and you're in the running for prom queen.

Does it sound ridiculous?

It absolutely is, but ridiculousness won't stop me from getting my prom queen nomination. I've had plenty of opportunities to lose my V-card to one of the boys at my school, but I don't want to sleep with a high school boy. I want a man with experience. I want the man that's been starring in my wet dreams at night. I want my history teacher. I want Mr. Tucker.

My Review

** spoiler alert ** Although the story line is one that not everyone will like I really enjoyed this book. Justine always writes an outstanding story and this one was no different. Although reading the blurb will turn some readers off that is ok for those that read it be prepared to fall in love with the H and h from the beginning. I loved how the H worked so hard to help the h even though it was hard on him to resist her wiles. I loved watching them both mature once in their relation ship. Adored the epoligue so glad they ended up together as true love is true love

Actually liked this better then the kindle version
but that could be because I know the story
I was pissed at the cliffhanger when I read it the first time
The narrator does a terrific job
definitely worth the listen
but you will want to get all three books

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I thought I loved book one, than I read book 2 and fell even more in love with these characters. I started reading this series cause I like this authors writing and it was set in my home state of KY. I keep reading this series cause the stories are awesome and keep my engrossed from the first page to the last. I love how it flowed from book one seamlessly even though the stories overlap it did not bother me at all cause I was enjoying finding the other parts of the families story.

New Release by Lori Ryan: Serve and Protect

“Ashley!”
She didn’t stop. She raised one leg and spun, and he recognized the move. His arms came down to deflect the blow. If her foot had connected with his knee at that angle, he would have been in a world of pain.
“Ashley!” He shouted now, needing to cut through whatever was going on in her head. Her eyes were wild as she struck out at him, but she seemed to startle at his shout and step back.
“Ashley,” he said now, quietly. The emotions on her face wavered from one extreme to the next. Fear, then shock, and briefly mortification. But mortification was left in the wake, as anger took hold and remained.
“What the heck, Garret? What are you doing sneaking up on me like that? You scared me to death!”
He slowly came forward and put his hands on her upper arms, looking into her flushed face. She was shaking violently, and despite the angry words, he didn’t think her trembling had anything to do with anger. It was fear. She was rocked to the bone.
“Ashley, what is it? What’s got you so frightened?”
She shrugged him off, her breathing still hard. “You. You have me so frightened. Sneaking around in here when I’m trying to close up.”
He watched her face. Something else was going on and she was trying to cover it up with bluster.
“Tell me what’s going on, Ashley.” His voice held the low tone of a man giving a warning. She could storm and rage all she wanted to. He wasn’t going to walk away.
She turned her back on him and walked to the circulation desk, picking up her bag and a computer case. She reached into the office behind the desk and flipped off the light before looking at him again.
“Are you coming? I need to lock up.”

He stayed where he was and watched her, shaking his head slowly. No, he wasn’t coming. He’d wait her out.

My Review

I love the town of Evers and I want to move there. Come back to Evers for an emotional and suspenseful trip with Ashley and Garett as they fall in love while their pasts come back to mess with their future together. If you've read book 1 and 2 of this series you will get to see some of our beloved people from those books. If you haven't read them don't worry you'll be fine and still enjoy this wonderful read. I will warn you to be sure and have tissues as it got me at least once.

One Broken Promise, A Citadel Series Novella
By Deanndra Hall
Originally released as part of the Loving Dangerously Box Set

Buy it Now – Only $1.99

Blurb

Hayden Patterson has a simple rule. And he's never broken it. Sleeping with a woman more than once simply isn't going to happen. He's always managed to hang onto his resolve, and so far, no woman's ever blasted her way through. It's one and done, with no prospect of ever having anything permanent. His childhood gave him that thinking and he has no plans to ever change. Two women alone, and one of them is in more danger than anyone realizes. It's hard being a teenager. Kacey Flournoy knows that all too well. Stuck in a school district full of snobby rich kids, she doesn't fit in on her single mom's salary. When she's cast as a bully, it only gets worse – especially since she's the one being bullied. And her poor mom, Delaina, doesn't know what to do. Since Kacey's dad died while serving in the military, it's all she can do to put food on the table. When Hayden draws his first assignment through Citadel Security, he can't believe it. No way does he want to follow a poor little rich girl around all day to guard her from a bully. It doesn't take him long, however, to figure out that something's terribly wrong. And when he tries to right it, he meets the one woman who just might make him break his long-standing promise. That would mean he'd have to let go of the past, but he's sure he's not ready and he never will be. A novella nestled between the first and second books in the first spinoff series from the Love Under Construction series, One Broken Promise takes the hunted to the hunter, the oppressor to the oppressed, and one very scared man to a place that will bring him to his knees. If you've ever been bullied, you'll feel the pain. But you'll also taste the joy of a promise broken. WARNING: Strong, graphic sexual situations, a heinous criminal act against both an animal and a person by a seriously sick individual, and a suicide. For readers 18+ only.

Deanndra did it again! Wrote one awesome book! This isn't the first time I've read her books and it will not be the last. I always know with her books, I can expect fantastic characters with a storyline that keeps my attention until the very end. I love her storylines and the characters come alive right off the pages. This one is so worth more than 5 stars. Hayden is a good guy! Hayden doesn't want a serious relationship. He is more the wham bam and walk away kind. But when he gets a job with Citadel Security and gets his first assignment which is protecting Evangeline Matthews. A very rich and spoiled brat! She supposedly is getting bullied pretty bad by another girl named Kacey Flournoy. He goes to talk with Kacey and meets her mom and things just don't jive with what Evangeline has told him. While working the case Hayden realizes what he really wants and will do anything he has to in order to keep who he needs to keep safe. He has to figure out which one of these girls are lying and he needs to do it quick before he loses his heart to a lady that he can't be involved with or at least shouldn't be. I love Hayden! He is sweet, charming and really down deep wants what everyone else wants which is happiness. Can he do his job and protect the right person without losing his heart or his job in the process? Grab a copy of this book and read it! This is one awesome story!

About the Author

For as long as I can remember, I've been a writer . . .
and it has served me well. I wrote for local publications, wrote marketing and advertising materials, wrote for academic publications, and eventually grew jaded with the writing profession as I often watched others take credit for my hard work. I retreated into the world of 3-D art in the fiber and textile mediums and hid out in a world of colors and textures. But, truth is, there was always a story or two in my head. It wasn't until Nikki and I met in my imagination that I decided it was time to let those stories out, and I'm glad I did. My readers now get to enjoy the fruits of my imagination and, believe me, it runs wild!
On the personal side, I've been happily married to my lover and best friend for over thirty years, and I have two wonderful adult kids who've blessed me with two excellent choices of life partners. When I'm not writing, I'm playing with my three crazy little dogs, hiking in a local recreation area, kayaking, working out at the gym, tending my herbs, cooking, or doing some kind of research.
But I'd really rather be writing!

Noelle's Wish (A Christmas Tale #1)Noelle's Wish by Nicole Garcia
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE AUDIO VERSION OF THE STORY

While I did have a few small issues with the story I did enjoy it. While the narrator did a decent job she just didn't have the right voice for me. Mainly I felt like I was listening to a child read me a story

(the issues I had where that Noelle didn't trust Roman at first I felt like she started trusting him too quick with all the issues she had faced I didn't feel like he proved himself enough for me for her to trust him) I did like the story though and would read this author agai

Lost Pleasures Found (Montgomery Family Trilogy, #1)Lost Pleasures Found by Vikki Vaught
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Very good historical romance. Not many deal with the fighting between the English and the French during Napoleon's time but this one did. As I've always been interested in the at point in history I was very interested in this book. the story was very good and keep my interest though out the whole read. Although at times I wanted to shout at the main characters for what they were doing. I love when a book engages me so I have a reaction such as this. So glad I found this author as I always forget how much I love historical romances till I read one of hers and then I remember.

While I did enjoy the story I felt like it could have been fleshed out more. I was left with many questions. The narrator did a wonderful job bringing the story to life.
I would read another book by this author as I feel like she can tell a good story she just needs to not leave out so much if she is going to jump in years in what is going on.

Secrets. They had the ability to destroy lives, obliterate relationships and sabotage even the strongest partnerships. Big or small…it didn’t matter. Even the tiniest white lie had the power to corrode—to shatter and dismantle everything you loved. I’d carried a secret so big, for so long that sometimes I felt physically weak from its weight. I had thought I could carry its burden to my grave—that eventually its truth would die along with me. But secrets never die. They live on far longer than we do, and they always find their way to the surface. Mine certainly did. Sitting alone in the apartment I shared with my fiancé, I gently rolled the smooth green stone between my thumb and forefinger, over and over, remembering the day it was returned to me. In all our years together, I’d never seen August so cold. So lifeless. It frightened me to my core. But I still hadn’t told anyone. It had been three days and I had yet to tell my fiancé or best friend about the events that had taken place in that bridal shop. As far as Ryan and Sarah knew, August had rudely interrupted my bridal appointment to tell me he had his memories back—that was all. Nothing more, nothing less. Why hadn’t I elaborated? I didn’t want to admit my shame. I couldn’t share this secret, my darkest lie. What would they think of me? I was the reason August had been in that hospital bed for two years. And the worst part? I’d lied about it—to everyone.

Wow

I so didn't know what to expect from this book with the end to the first one but was hopeful after everything I've read by this author. I was not disappointed in this book at all. She ran me through a gauntlet of emotions while reading this book. The one thing I love about reading JL Berg's books is they are real and could actually happen to people but she always leaves me with a HEA. I know real life doesn't always have HEA but I want my books too. Great story so glad I read this book

This is my favorite so far. I was honored to be asked by the author to beta read this one. It is even better than the other two and I loved them immensely but this one took it to another level. I laughed, I cheered them on and then I cried not a bad cry but it did get me. If you have been reading this series you will adore this one. Although I adore getting to Beta read a story I love when it comes out and I get to go back and read it again for just my reading pleasure. If you are a fan of good historical romance than this is a great fit for you. So glad I found this author's books as she reminded me how much I always enjoyed reading historical romance. I had gotten away from reading this genre and glad I am reading them again.
